Career

Gary Adkins

Born in Chicago and raised in Atlanta, Gary received his college education at Berklee College of Music in Boston before making his home in Los Angeles.

Gary made his acting debut on tour with a three-member cast in Jonathan Larson's "Tick Tick Boom," in which he played the character of Michael. He has released three CDs, one in America and two in Japan, which are available at major record stores or online.

Gary has achieved many milestones in his career, including being a Star Search semi-finalist on American national television. He signed management contracts with Gene Griffin (Teddy Riley, Basic Black, Guy...) and the legendary Joe Isgro, with whom he released his first CD in America. The first single from the CD reached No. 20 on the Billboard Dance Chart and No. 12 on the R&B Bubbling Under Billboard Charts. He also made appearances on European Quality Cream Cut Charts.

Gary has performed all over the world, including Japan, Germany, Brazil, Indonesia, Korea and Hong Kong, and has worked with many major Japanese stars, such as Ai, HY, The Gospellers, Suzuki Masayuki, Anri, and Hound Dog, among others. He has made many appearances on national TV and has done countless TV commercials for popular brands such as Gatsby, Misawa Homes, Coca Cola, Toyota, Volvo, Daiwa Shoken, Canon, Nissan, J.R. (Japan Railways), Asahi, Frisky (cat food), Budweiser, Matsuhita, Morinaga, Japan Air Lines, Honda, Mitsubishi, P&G, and others, some of which he wrote himself.

Gary has also had many noteworthy performances on television, including performing on Kohaku in 2011 with HY, a television mini-tour with Naoto Intiraymi in 2014, and performing on the Music Fair television chorus for Ai in November 2016. Additionally, he has gone on national and international tours with Anri in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

ゲイリー アドキンスはアメリカ出身のシンガーソングライターです。

ボストンのバークリー音楽大学で大学教育を受け、ジョナサン・ラーソンの「ティック・ティック・ブーム」で3人組のキャストとツアーを組みマイケル役を演じ、俳優としてデビューしました。彼は3枚のCDをリリースしており、1枚はアメリカで発売。

日本でもリリースしており、大手レコード店やオンラインで購入可能です。

ジーン・グリフィン（テディ・ライリー、ベーシック・ブラック、ガイなど）や伝説のジョー・イスグロとマネージメント契約を結び、

彼らと共にアメリカで最初のCDをリリースしました。このCDからの最初のシングルはビルボード・ダンス・チャートで20位。

R&Bバブリング・アンダー・ビルボード・チャートで12位になりました。ヨーロッパのクオリティ・クリーム・カット・チャートにも登場。

ゲイリーは日本、ドイツ、ブラジル、インドネシア、香港など世界中で公演を行っており、AI、HY、ゴスペラーズ、鈴木雅之、杏里、

ハウンドドッグなど多くの有名アーティストと共演。全国放送のテレビに多数出演しています。

木村拓哉が出演していた「GATSBY（ギャツビー）」のCM曲を歌っていたのがゲイリー アドキンス(Gary Adkins)。

スタイリスティックスの「Can't Give You Anything（But My Love）：愛がすべて」を歌い、TV業界に大きな反響を呼びました。

そのほかにミサワホーム、コカコーラ、トヨタ、ボルボ、大和証券、キヤノン、日産、JR（日本鉄道）、

アサヒ、フリスキー（キャットフード）、バドワイザー、松下、森永、日本航空、ホンダ、三菱、P&Gなど

人気ブランドの数々のテレビコマーシャルを手掛けており、ゲイリーアドキンス自身が曲を書いたものもあります。

2011年にHYのバックコーラスとして紅白歌合戦に出演。

2014年にナオト・インティライミとテレビミニツアー。

2016年11月にミュージックフェアでAIのバックコーラスで出演するなど

テレビでも注目を与えて、パフォーマンスを数多く行っています。

2017年、2018年、2019年、2020年、2021年、2022年、2023年、2023年には杏里と国内外のツアーに参加。

2021年にはプライドポテトのCM（ボーカル）に出演。

2023年2月には杏里とミュージックステーションのテレビ番組に出演。

2024年は杏里とツアー中です。
